PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man who stole a gun from inside an unlocked vehicle in Philadelphia is being sought today by police.
According to police, on Monday at approximately 3:09 PM, the victim, a 29-year-old female, parked her unlocked vehicle on the 18xx block of E. Albert Street with her Glock model 23, 40 caliber firearm inside.
“When she later realized the firearm was missing, surveillance video depicts that it was taken by an unidentified male walking up the street who is checking vehicle doors,” police said. “When he realizes the victim’s vehicle door is unlocked he takes the firearm and leaves the area.”
