BRONX, N.Y. — Police are seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a violent altercation early Sunday morning that left two men injured in the Bathgate section of the Bronx.

The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. at the rear of 1880 Bathgate Avenue, within the NYPD’s 48th Precinct. According to investigators, a 38-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified male, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

The 38-year-old gunshot victim was taken by private transport to BronxCare Health System, while the 32-year-old victim, who suffered a head laceration, was transported by EMS to Saint Barnabas Health System.
