Gunfire Erupts at Greensboro Bar as Mayor Was Doing Police Ride-Along

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning outside a local nightclub.

The incident, captured on video, showcased the chaos with two separate instances of gunfire, people running for safety, and individuals taking cover on the ground.

During the incident, two individuals sustained leg injuries; however, their conditions are stable. Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan, who accompanied police during a ride-along, witnessed the event firsthand.

Vaughan remarked on the extraordinary number of shell casings present at the scene, highlighting the severity of the shooting.

The location of the incident has been identified as outside the Electric Tequila nightclub on Battleground Avenue. No additional injuries have been reported in connection with the shooting.
