Gunfire erupts in Atlantic City, one injured

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On Wednesday, at 1:50 PM, patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Westminister Place for a report of shots fired and a ShotSpotter alert.

Responding officers arrived on the scene and found a 31-year-old male victim who had been shot, along with evidence of gunfire.

The victim, a resident of Atlantic City, was transported by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.
