Gunfire erupts on Oakley Avenue, 21-year-old injured

BALTIMORE, MD — A 21-year-old man was injured in a shooting Sunday night and later walked into a hospital for treatment, prompting an investigation by Northern District detectives.

The victim arrived at an area hospital at approximately 9:42 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds, according to authorities. Medical staff determined his injuries to be non-life-threatening.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the man was shot in the 3000 block of Oakley Avenue, where police have located a crime scene.
