Gunman at large after armed robbery in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint Friday evening in Southeast D.C.

The robbery occurred around 6:58 p.m. in the 400 block of K Street, Southeast. The suspect approached the victim, brandished a handgun, and demanded his belongings. The victim complied, and the suspect fled.

A surveillance camera captured the suspect, and police have released an image in hopes of identifying him.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
