Gunman entered New Jersey home, assaulted victims, but didn’t take anything

MULLICA TOWNSHIP, NJ – A man is in jail in Atlantic County after breaking into a home, brandishing a gun and assaulting two victims.  The man left the home without taking any items police say.

On January 15, 2021, at approximately 6:55 PM, officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Moss Mill Road for a report of a home invasion that had just occurred. Initial officers responded to the scene and spoke with the victims. The victims stated the accused, Anthony Dabronzo, made entry into the home, brandished a handgun, and struck both victims. Dabronzo then fled the scene in his vehicle. Officers checked the area and were able to locate Dabronzo a short time later.

He was taken into custody without incident. During the apprehension, a black pellet gun was located in his possession. Anthony Dabronzo was charged with Aggravated assault with a weapon (2 counts), Simple assault (2 counts), Terroristic threats (2 counts), Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Contempt of court, Defiant trespass, and criminal mischief. Anthony was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
