ANNAPOLIS, MD – The police were on regular patrol near Copeland Street and Bywater Road on the evening of Tuesday, when gunfire was heard at approximately 7:30 pm.
Officers witnessed an individual discharging a firearm towards the 1800 block of Copeland Street.
Upon spotting the patrol, the shooter entered a sedan and fled via Bywater Road towards Forest Drive.
Three vehicles were found damaged by bullets. No injuries were reported.
