Gunman flees scene after targeting victim on Euclid Street

WASHINGTON, DC — A robbery involving an armed suspect is under investigation following an early-morning incident in Northwest D.C.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery at approximately 3 a.m. in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, NW. According to initial information, the suspect is described as a Black male, between 20 and 30 years old, dressed in all black clothing, and armed with a handgun. He was last seen heading westbound in the 1700 block of Columbia Road, NW.

No additional details have been released at this time.
