Gunshot victim surfaces at ER after East Chase shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A 46-year-old man showed up at a Baltimore hospital Saturday evening with a gunshot wound, leading police to trace the shooting back to East Chase Street.

The victim arrived at the hospital around 6:35 p.m., prompting Southeast District patrol officers to respond. The man was found suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to officials.

After speaking with the victim, investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 2500 block of East Chase Street. Details about what led up to the shooting remain unclear.

No arrests have been announced, and police have not released any suspect information or motive.
