Gunshot Victim Walks into Hospital Following Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A gunshot victim who walked into a local hospital prompted a police investigation into a shooting incident in Southwest Baltimore. On Friday, April 12, at approximately 2:54 PM, Southwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of West Pratt Street after a shot-spotter alert was activated.

The unidentified male victim, found at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. Initial investigations confirmed the shooting occurred on West Pratt Street. Southwest District Shooting detectives have taken charge of the inquiry.
