Gunshots Ring Out After Maryland High School Football Game

EDGEWOOD, MD – Shots were fired near Edgewood High School after a football game concluded, leading to the quick arrest of two suspects while others are still being sought.

Deputies assigned to the game received reports of the shooting as students were leaving the area. The initial investigation indicates that the shots were fired near the front of the school but away from the stadium. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Evidence supporting the occurrence of a shooting was recovered at the scene, and charges against the apprehended individuals are pending. The investigation will continue into tomorrow.
