TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON – The Township of Hamilton Police Department reports a recent uptick in motor vehicle burglaries. To combat this issue and enhance community safety, they have released four essential tips for residents to protect their vehicles and belongings:

  1. Always remove keys from vehicles. Never leave them inside unattended.
  2. Ensure vehicle doors are locked at all times.
  3. Whenever possible, park in well-lit areas to deter potential burglars.
  4. Avoid leaving valuables in plain sight. Secure them in the trunk or take them indoors.

The police department emphasizes the importance of vigilance and encourages residents to be aware of their surroundings.
