Hamilton Resident Wins $50K on Ohio Lottery Scratch-off

HAMILTON, OH – A fortunate lottery player in Hamilton has won $50,000 playing the Ohio Lottery’s Billion scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #9390, located at 3450 Tylersville Road.

The $50 scratch-off ticket, known as Billion, offers a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. Despite the significant win, the prize money will be subject to mandatory federal and state tax withholdings, leaving the winner with approximately $36,000.

As of July 12, 2024, there are still three top prizes available in the Billion game. The Ohio Lottery continues its commitment to supporting education, having contributed over $32 billion since its inception in 1974. This win adds to the growing list of lucky Ohioans benefiting from the state’s lottery games.
