Hammer-Wielding Suspects Caught On Camera Breaking into D.C. Business

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are seeking help in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary at a closed establishment in Northwest Washington early Wednesday.

At approximately 3:35 a.m., the suspects broke the front glass door of a business in the 1000 block of F Street, Northwest, using a hammer. They then stole merchandise before fleeing the scene.

The incident was recorded by surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the burglary is encouraged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
