Handgun Arrest Made by Baltimore Police

BALTIMORE, MD — A 39-year-old man was arrested by Northeast district patrol officers on Wednesday afternoon following a report of an armed individual.

The incident took place on May 30, 2024, at approximately 3:33 PM, after a caller reported seeing a man manipulating a firearm in the 560 block of The Alameda. Police swiftly responded, locating a male matching the description on nearby Purdue Avenue. Upon approach, officers noted the imprint of a firearm on the suspect’s left ankle, leading to his arrest without further incident.

The suspect was subsequently transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility for processing.
