Handgun Pulled During Argument at Bass Pro Shop in Hanover

HANOVER, MD – On the evening of Tuesday, officers responded to an assault report at the Bass Pro Shop parking lot, located at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover.

The assault involved a red/purple handgun.

Investigations reveal that following a verbal altercation, the suspect, Brittney Leigh White, a 34-year-old woman from Salisbury, Maryland, drew the handgun and pointed it at the victim.

She was prohibited from possessing a firearm. White was arrested on the scene when officers found the red/purple semi-automatic handgun in her vehicle during a consent search. The charges against her are pending.
