Handgun Recovered and Suspect Arrested in Baltimore Traffic Stop

Baltimore, MD – On the evening of April 11, at approximately 11:15 PM, Baltimore Northwest District detectives conducted a traffic stop on the 3400 block of Calloway Avenue. K9 officers were deployed and detected something on the driver’s side door of the vehicle. A detailed search followed, resulting in the discovery of an automatic pistol in the driver side door pocket. The 23-year-old driver was arrested and taken to CBIF without any further incidents.
