Hanover Twp. Woman Arrested for Assault and Harassment, Found with Active Warrant

HANOVER TWP., PA – On Friday, Jill Harris, a resident of Hanover Township, was arrested by the local police department following a domestic disturbance on Lee Park Avenue. Harris now faces charges of simple assault and harassment.

During the course of the arrest, it was discovered that Harris had an active warrant from the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department. The nature of the warrant has not been disclosed. Upon confirming the warrant, Harris was taken into custody and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, where she awaits further legal proceedings.

The Hanover Township Police Department has not released any additional details about the circumstances surrounding the domestic incident or the active warrant. It is important to note that the charges against Harris are allegations, and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
