Hanover Woman Carjacked by Young Boy, Aged 12 or 13

HANOVER, MD – A carjacking incident unfolded in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle on March 19, 2024, prompting a response from local law enforcement. A 63-year-old woman became the victim of a teenage male suspect who forcibly took her keys and commandeered her black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

During the carjacking, the teenager encountered a 29-year-old woman seated inside the vehicle. By implying possession of a handgun, he coerced her to exit the Jeep before picking up two additional suspects. The group then fled towards the Baltimore Washington Parkway.

The primary suspect is described as a 12-year-old or 13-year-old Black male, dressed in a green hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The two accomplices were noted for wearing dark clothing. Western District detectives are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. The public is urged to come forward with any relevant information by contacting the provided numbers.
