ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is doubling down on its future with a sweeping $50 million capital improvement plan for 2026, signaling that the iconic Boardwalk resort has no plans of slowing down.

The ambitious project includes renovations to more than 700 standard guest rooms, 60 suites, and eight penthouses in the property’s North Tower, along with upgrades to guest corridors and common walkways. Most of the improvements are expected to be complete by the end of 2026, marking another major investment in the resort’s ongoing revitalization efforts.

Hard Rock officials said the project reflects a continued commitment to both guest experience and Atlantic City’s long-term economic health. Since reopening the former Trump Taj Mahal in 2018, Hard Rock has poured nearly $700 million into capital projects aimed at solidifying its place as a leading entertainment and hospitality destination on the East Coast.

New dining options and upgraded guest experience on the way

The resort is expanding its dining scene with several new culinary concepts, including Sitar, an upscale East Indian restaurant featuring modern Indian cuisine and sweeping Boardwalk views. Also joining the property this spring will be Federal Donuts and Chicken, a Philadelphia favorite known for its fried chicken and signature donuts.

Guest arrival areas and gaming spaces are also being refreshed with new carpet on the casino floor and upper corridors. Sixteen electric vehicle chargers have been added at Rocktane Gas & Wash, and exterior restoration work is ongoing on the South Tower.

Hard Rock President George Goldhoff said the latest round of improvements underscores the brand’s dedication to reinvestment. “Our $50 million capital improvement plan for 2026 reflects Hard Rock Atlantic City’s unwavering commitment to our resort, our team members, and the Atlantic City community,” Goldhoff said. “From redesigned suites and new dining concepts to world-class entertainment, these investments ensure we continue delivering an exceptional guest experience.”

Entertainment, workforce, and community investments continue

Beyond physical renovations, Hard Rock Atlantic City continues to invest heavily in live entertainment, hosting A-list performers such as Rod Stewart, Nikki Glaser, Daniel Tosh, James Taylor, Charlie Puth, and Ricardo Arjona.

The resort was also recognized with a USA Today Top Workplaces Award for the third consecutive year in 2026, reflecting its commitment to employee satisfaction and development. Since 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has partnered with more than 500 local organizations, focusing on education, youth programs, food security, and social equity initiatives under the company’s guiding principle: Take Time To Be Kind.

  • $50 million renovation plan includes North Tower room and suite upgrades
  • New dining options and EV chargers part of guest experience enhancements
  • Hard Rock continues expanding entertainment, community, and workforce initiatives

As Atlantic City pushes ahead with its broader revitalization goals, Hard Rock’s steady investment appears to cement its role as one of the city’s cornerstone destinations—proving that the guitar-shaped brand is betting big on Atlantic City’s comeback.
