Harlem Road Stabbing Suspect Charged with Manslaughter

BUFFALO, NY – 27-year-old Jaquan Combs has been arraigned for a stabbing murder he allegedly carried out in Cheektowaga on Wednesday.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn said on Wednesday, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the defendant stabbed the victim in the neck with a knife during an argument. The alleged crime occurred in a parking lot on Harlem Road near Wayne Terrace in the Town of Cheektowaga.

“The victim, a 21-year-old male, died at the scene. The defendant was arrested nearby a short time later,” Flynn said in a statement. “Combs is scheduled to return on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. He was held without bail.”

If convicted of the charge, Combs faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
