Harrisburg Police Investigating Cab Driver Murder

HARRISBURG, PA – Police in Harrisburg today said the shooting death of a taxicab driver, Kenneth Cobb was appears to be targeted.

Cobb was shot and killed inside his cab after being dispatched to the Amtrak train station.

” On Sunday, at about 9:26 pm, Harrisburg Police Patrol Units were dispatched to the Amtrak Train Station in reference to shots being fired at that location,”  said Captain Terry Weland. “Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male gunshot victim in a taxi cab. This victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.”

This is the 8th homicide of the year in Harrisburg.
