Hartford Shooting Leaves One Critically Injured

HARTFORD, CT – A shooting incident in Hartford early Tuesday morning has left one man critically injured and another wounded.

Hartford Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at around 12:40 a.m. on the 300 block of Franklin Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a building’s porch. The driver, a man in his 20s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and is in critical condition at the hospital.

Additionally, a 19-year-old man was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at another hospital.

Police established that both men were victims of the same shooting incident. The Hartford Police Department is actively investigating and encourages anyone with information to contact the HPD Tip Line.
