Hate-Based Vandalism in Montgomery County Under Investigation

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District Investigative Section continue their inquiry into a string of hate-related crimes involving arson. Surveillance footage shows at least one suspect committing these acts of vandalism.

Between Tuesday, June 27, and Wednesday, June 28, over eleven Pride and Ukrainian flags and sign boards were burned in various neighborhoods. The investigators are requesting that residents share any relevant surveillance videos of potential suspects.
