NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Friday, July 14, a grand larceny occurred at a Costco on Richmond Avenue, Staten Island.
The NYPD is seeking an individual who removed a 43-year-old woman’s purse from her shopping cart while she was briefly distracted.
The purse contained various identification documents and credit/debit cards.
Unauthorized charges totaling approximately $1,047.17 were later made at two different stores using the victim’s stolen credit cards.
The NYPD asked anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Crime Stoppers.
