Head-On Collision on Route 47 Sends Multiple Victims to Hospital

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ – A severe head-on collision occurred on Route 47 North near mile post 15.3 on Saturday, as reported by the Middle Township Police.

The crash involved two vehicles, with one ending up partially overturned.

Rescue teams, including the Goshen Volunteer Fire Company, extricated the driver of the overturned vehicle. Both drivers sustained leg injuries and were transported to different medical centers for treatment.

The initial investigation indicated that the southbound vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding with the northbound vehicle.

 Multiple emergency services, including Inspira Emergency Medical Services, AtlantiCare Paramedics, and the Cape May County Fire Police, assisted in the response and ongoing investigation.
