Heavy Traffic Delays Plague George Washington Bridge

Fort Lee, NJ – Unusually high traffic volume has resulted in significant delays on both the upper and lower levels of the George Washington Bridge. Fort Lee Police Department reports delays of 60 minutes on the upper level and 45 minutes on the lower level.

To manage the situation, local officers have been stationed at multiple traffic posts throughout the town. The department advises commuters to plan ahead and allocate additional travel time for the day.
