Help Needed to Identify Suspect in D.C. Daylight Burglary

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A brazen daytime burglary in Northwest D.C. has led to a call for public assistance in identifying the suspect who broke into an unoccupied establishment and stole property.

The incident occurred on June 22 at approximately 2:53 p.m. in the 1000 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. The suspect was captured on surveillance video, which can be viewed here.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the burglary is urged to avoid confrontation and contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
