Henderson County Sheriff’s Office sets up Wi-Fi and charging station for residents affected by Tropical Storm Helene

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Helene, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a Wi-Fi and charging station has been set up for local residents experiencing service interruptions due to storm damage.

Optimum has established a Wi-Fi trailer at 717 S Grove St., Hendersonville, NC 28792. The station provides free internet access and charging facilities for electronic devices.

Authorities advise residents to check the accessibility of roads before traveling to the location, as some routes may still be impacted by storm debris and closures.
