HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The following incidents occurred in Howard County between July 12-13, 2022. These incidents represent just a portion of calls responded to by police during this time.

Here’s what happened:

Assault
Elkridge, 21075: 
5600 block of Main Street, July 13 1 a.m. An adult male victim reported that as he was leaving a building at the above location, a male suspected confronted him and displayed a gun. The victim fled; no one was injured. Police responded, located the suspect, and arrested him. Police also recovered the gun, which was loaded. 
ARRESTED: Patrick Joseph Dougal, 59, of Elkridge, charged with assault and reckless endangerment

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21044: 
4900 block of Columbia Road, July 12, tag

Columbia, 21046: 9400 block of Birdhouse Circle, July 12-13 overnight, tires

Savage, 20763: 8500 block of Foxborough Drive, July 12-13 overnight, tools
