High-Speed Police Pursuit in Allegheny Township Ends in Arrest

ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, PA – Bruce Alvarado, a 38-year-old from Clairton, faces multiple charges following a police pursuit on Friday.

The incident involved several police departments, including Pitcairn, Monroeville, North Versailles and others.

The pursuit, initiated in Turtle Creek for a stolen vehicle, reached speeds up to 90 mph through various routes before ending near Hyde Park Road in Allegheny Township.

Alvarado, after a standoff involving gunfire, was taken into custody without further harm to law enforcement.

He faces charges including attempted homicide, assault of a law enforcement officer, and other related counts.
