Hit and Run Leaves Bicyclist Seriously Injured in North Tonawanda

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY—A serious hit and run accident occurred early Saturday morning, leaving a male bicyclist with severe injuries. The North Tonawanda Police Department reported that the incident took place at the intersection of Main and Tremont Streets at around 1:15 AM on August 10.

The police are actively searching for a blue subcompact car, possibly a Kia, believed to be involved in the accident. This vehicle is expected to have noticeable damage on the passenger side of the front end. Following the collision, the injured man was rushed to Erie County Medical Center where he is currently receiving treatment.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information regarding the blue Kia to come forward.
