Hit-and-Run Leaves Victim in Critical Condition

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is searching for the man responsible for striking a pedestrian with his car on Thursday night.

Police stated that the suspect, driving an unidentified dark-colored Nissan, approached the intersection of East Dublin Road and Interstate 71 northbound.

The suspect ran a red light at the intersection when he hit a female pedestrian who was walking in the crosswalk. He immediately continued to drive, fleeing the scene.

The woman suffered severe injuries and was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
