Home Depot shoplifter physically threatened employee before fleeing with stolen goods

COLUMBIA, MD – Police are investigating the robbery at the Snowden River Parkway Home Depot store after a man threatened a store employee before fleeing the building with stolen merchandise.

The Howard County Police Department reported, “An employee reported that when he approached a male suspect attempting to steal merchandise, the suspect threatened the employee. The suspect then fled the store without the merchandise.”

No one was injured.
Police described the suspect as a white male in his 50s wearing a black shirt, black hat, and blue jeans.
