Home Invader Beats Homeowner With Pole in Lothian

LOTHIAN, MD – A home invasion occurred on Sunday, around 12:50 p.m. in Lothian.

Southern District Police responded to the incident in the 1100 block of Mount Zion Marlboro Road.

The assailant, described as a male in a black face mask and blue attire, forcefully entered a residence after the homeowner responded to his knock.

The suspect demanded cash and struck the homeowner multiple times with a pole-like object.

The victim was hospitalized for injuries, and the suspect remains at large. Detectives are actively investigating the case.
