Homeless Man Found Dead with Multiple Gunshot Wounds

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred last Monday.

The victim, identified as 57-year-old Donald Head, who had no fixed address, was shot in the 1700 block of Kenilworth Avenue, Capitol Heights.

Responding to the scene at approximately 8:25 am, officers discovered Head suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

Detectives are exploring motives and seeking to identify any suspects. The nature of the crime suggests that it was not a random act. The department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
