Homeless woman stabbed mother walking child in stroller in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – On Wednesday, the New York City Police Department arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection to a daylight assault incident. Identified as Lequasiah Lawrence, the undomiciled woman was apprehended within the 84 Precinct at approximately 7:45 pm. The charges against her include Attempted Murder and Assault.

The assault occurred on Monday, at the intersection of Jay Street and Tillary Street. According to the reports, the victim, a 34-year-old woman pushing a stroller with her 3-year-old daughter, got into a verbal dispute with Lawrence.

The situation escalated, and Lawrence threatened to harm the child and stabbed the mother multiple times. The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, while the child remained unharmed.
