Homer City Bank Robbery Suspect Captured After Police Pursuit

HOMER CITY BOROUGH, PA – Dylan Robert Clark Rider, a 28-year-old resident of Homer City Borough, has been apprehended following a bank robbery and ensuing vehicle pursuit.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, at the S&T Bank in Homer City Borough.

Rider, who entered the bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, was identified as the suspect and located driving a white 2010 Chrysler Sebring sedan.

After evading initial capture, Rider was pursued by the Pennsylvania State Police and apprehended in Burrell Township, Indiana County.

During his arrest, items linked to the robbery were found in his possession and vehicle, including a loaded rifle with a sawed-off barrel. Rider faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and was held at the Indiana County Jail on a $250,000 monetary bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 18.
