Homicide Detectives Investigating After Man Found Dead in Mt. Oliver

MOUNT OLIVER, PA – A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in Mount Oliver on Tuesday.

Now, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.

“At approximately 7:21 pm on August 30, 2022, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 100 block of Dawes Street. First responders found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation,” police said.
