Homicide in Landover Hills Under Investigation by Prince George’s County Police

LANDOVER HILLS, MD – The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating a homicide incident that took place on Wednesday evening. The identity of the victim will be released following the notification of his family.

Officers from the Landover Hills Police Department and the PGPD responded to a report of an unresponsive man outside a store on the 6500 block of Annapolis Road around 7:50 pm on Wednesday. The man, who was suffering from trauma, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The autopsy results are awaited to establish the cause of death.

The police are seeking to identify a potential suspect or suspects and a motive. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for any information leading to an arrest and indictment.
