Homicide Investigation Underway in Temple Hills Shooting

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Monday evening, claiming the life of 31-year-old Daysean Roberts. Authorities are actively seeking information and have announced a reward of up to $25,000 for details leading to an arrest and indictment.

The incident occurred on June 3, around 7:05 pm in the 3200 block of Naylor Road. Responding officers found Roberts outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.

Detectives are now focused on identifying any suspects and establishing a motive for the shooting. The police urge anyone with information related to this case to contact the Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512. The community’s cooperation is crucial in solving this tragic incident.
