House Explosion Reported in South Jersey, One Injured

COMMERCIAL TWP., NJ — Early Monday morning, an explosion rocked a single-family home in Commercial Township, resulting in at least one injury.

Emergency responders were called to the scene in the 6200 block of Battle Lane in Cumberland County just before 5 a.m., where they encountered heavy flames emanating from the residence.

One individual has been reported to have suffered burns due to the explosion. Firefighting teams are actively working to extinguish the remaining hot spots at the site.

The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined, and investigations are ongoing.
