Howard County Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Police in Howard County have reported the following incidents over the past few days. These reports do not include all calls for service responded to by police.

Robbery
Laurel, 20723: 
9400 block of Whiskey Bottom Road, July 26 7:21 p.m. 
An adult male victim reported that he arranged online to sell a dirt bike. Upon arriving at the agreed upon location, the victim was approached by two male suspects, one of whom displayed a handgun and demanded the dirt bike. The suspects then fled without stealing anything. No one was injured.
SUSPECTS: two Black males in their late teens or early 20s, approximately 5’10”-5’11” with thin builds, one wearing a bright blue hoodie and black sweatpants, then second wearing a long sleeve green shirt

Columbia, 21046: 
7200 block of Eden Brook Drive, July 26-27
Unknown suspect(s) entered two vacant apartments by breaking the windows. Nothing was reported stolen. 

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21044: 
10600 block of Gramercy Place, July 24-26, catalytic converter 

Columbia, 21046: 7600 block of Woodpark Lane, July 25-26 overnight, nothing reported stolen

Laurel, 20723: 9900-10000 block of Washington Boulevard, July 25-26 overnight, multiple vehicles: various items
9100 block of Moonshine Hollow, July 25-26 overnight, wallet
9200 block of Bridle Path Lane, July 26-27 overnight, nothing reported stolen
