Howard County Police Boost Patrols in Centennial Park Following Assault

ELLICOTT CITY, MD—In response to an assault on a local jogging trail, Howard County Police have heightened patrols in Centennial Park. A 24-year-old woman reported that on March 11, she was attacked by an unidentified male who grabbed and struck her around 6:30 a.m.

The victim, who sustained a minor injury, managed to escape to her vehicle and did not seek medical treatment. She described the assailant as a male, either White or Hispanic, between 5’7” and 5’9” tall, with dark eyes, and wearing a black cloth medical mask and a plain black baseball hat.
