HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Hawryluk Scores 18 in Jackson Memorial Loss

The visiting Jackson Memorial High School boys basketball team had an eight-point lead at halftime Friday but couldn’t hold on as Manalapan came back to defeat the Jaguars, 55-47.

Matan Zucker scored 21 points for the Braves, who outscored Jackson Memorial 34-18 in the second half. John Lugo scored 14 points on four 3-pointers and two free throws and Scott Scherer added 10 points for Manalapan.

Chris Hawryluk scored 18 points for the Jaguars.
