The Brick Memorial High School girls basketball team held an early lead Thursday, but visiting Southern Regional used a big second quarter to take control of the game on its way to beating the Mustangs, 50-42.
Shauna McHale led the Rams with 13 points while Morgan Henderson and Bianca Nicolini added 10 points each.
Cassandra Ball scored a game-high 17 points for Brick Memorial. Samantha Bialoblocki added eight points and Shauna Brucker scored seven points and pulled down 14 rebounds.
