HS ICE HOCKEY: Toms River East Defeats Brick Township 5-3

Patrick Romano had three goals and one assist Tuesday as the Toms River East High School hockey team came back from a 3-1 first-period deficit to beat visiting Brick Township, 5-3.

Zachary Noble had a goal and two assists and Zander Taaffe added a goal for the Raiders. Patrick Hofmann had four assists and goalie Nick Price made 21 saves for Toms River East.

James Wiater and Michael Mooney each had a goal and an assist for the Green Dragons. John Malone added a goal and Matt Stritch had two assists for Brick Township. Jake Lakatos stopped 36 of the 41 shots he faced in net.
