HS Softball: Toms River South Defeats Raritan 1-0

TOMS RIVER-Indians starting pitcher Hayley Tamaro blanked Raritan on opening day of the 2018 high school softball season. Tamaro allowed just 4 hits over 7 innings and struck out an impressive 15 batters. and walked only 4.

For Raritan, Erynn Boyle pitched well, giving up just 1 run on 4 hits, striking out 6 Indian batters.

At the plate, Tamaro went 2-3.

Mackenzie Byrne drove in South’s only run, scored by Victoria Jackson.
