Restaurant Argument Escalates as One Person Shot in Baltimore, In Critical Condition

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on May 13th. This incident happened on the 1000 Block of South Charles Street in Southern Baltimore.

According to police, “At approximately 4 pm, officers responded to the for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest, and immediately began rendering aid. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is in serious condition. Southern District shooting detectives responded and are investigating this incident. Preliminary information revealed the victim was inside a restaurant arguing with another male (suspect) when the suspect walked out of the restaurant. A short time later, the suspect returned with a firearm and shot the victim before fleeing the location.”
